Amref Health Africa Job Vacancies 2024

About Us

Since its founding in 1957, Amref Health Africa has expanded to become the biggest organization dedicated to international health development, focusing on Africa. It presently runs over 150 programs that directly benefit over 20 million people in 35 African nations. With its main office located in Nairobi, Kenya, Amref also maintains eleven advocacy and fundraising offices around Europe and North America, a workforce of more than 1,500, and fully operational offices in Ethiopia, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Senegal, South Sudan, and Zambia.
The Ethiopia Country Office has been in existence for almost 20 years and was registered in 2002. With over 300 employees, we now operate in every region of Ethiopia and provide a broad range of PHC, RMNCAYH-N, Youth Development, WASH, and DPC services, including NTDs.

Our mission is to support Ethiopia’s goal of an affluent, productive, and healthy society to bring about “Lasting health change in Africa.” Since we think that communities can drastically improve health in Africa, we work to make sure that health systems are not just operational but also provide communities the authority to hold these systems responsible for providing high-quality, reasonably priced healthcare.
